Bird watching tour in the fascinating landscapes of Eastern Mongolia

Day 1: Departure
Departure from Europe to Ulaanbaatar / Chinggis Khan airport

Day 2: Arrival in Ulaanbaatar
Morning arrival at Chinggis Khan Airport in Ulaanbaatar, transfer to the hotel, after breakfast short break, city tour including Gandan Monastery and the National Museum of Mongolia. After lunch we will have visit the Choijin Lama Temple Museum in the city, dinner at the hotel.

Day 3: Lake Khukh Nuur
We start our trip to the East and drive to our ger camp at Bayangol. Bird watching at the Lake Khukh Nuur.

Day 4: Uglugch Wall
Continuation of our trip to Uglugch Wall, overnight at ger camp.

Day 5: Deluun Boldog in village Dadal
We drive to birthplace of Chinggis Khan Deluun Boldog in village Dadal. Overnight at ger camp.

Day 6: Village Dashbalbar
Today we drive to protected area Mongol Daguur (since 2007 UNESCO-biosphere reserve) along the river Ulz, on the way bird watching and overnight in tent the at village Dashbalbar.

Day 7: Mongol Daguur
In afternoon we will arrive Mongol Daguur, bird watching and overnight in tent in protected area.

Day 8: Lake Yahi Nuur
We drive in south direction and in afternoon we reach the lake Yahi Nuur, bird watching and overnight in tent.

Day 9: Provincial town Choibalsan
In the morning we drive to the provincial town Choibalsan and overnight in hotel.

Day 10: Lake Buir Nuur
Drive to the lake Buir Nuur, bird watching at the lake, overnight in the tent.

Day 11: Back to Choibalsan
In the afternoon we will drive back to Choibalsan, overnight in hotel.

Day 12: Provincial town Undur-Khan
In the morning we drive to another provincial town Undur-Khan, overnight in hotel.

Day 13: National Park Gorkhi Terelj
Drive to west and late afternoon we reach our ger camp in National Park Gorkhi Terelj.

Day 14: Ulaanbaatar
In the morning bird watching at the river Tuul, at midday drive back to Ulaanbaatar, in the evening farewell dinner with folklore.

Day 15: Departure
Early in the morning transfer to airport and departure
