During this journey you will enjoy both nature and habitants and get to know the most important landscapes and cultural aspects of different parts of Mongolia such as southern, central and northern Mongolia.

Day 1 :
Day 1: Departure

Departure from Europe to Ulaanbaatar/Chinggis Khan Airport.

Day 2 :
Day 2: Arrival in Ulaanbaatar, City Tour

Arrival in Ulaanbaatar/Chinggis Khan Airport and transfer to the hotel, short break, city tour: Gandan Monastery and the National Museum. Visit the Choijin Lama Temple Museum in the city after lunch and have dinner in hotel.

Day 3 :
Day 3: Baga Gazriin Chuluu Mountain

Drive to Baga Gazriin Chuluu Mountain, which arises pictorially out of the flat landscapes. Stay overnight at ger camp.

Day 4 :
Day 4: Tsagaan Suvraga

Drive to Tsagaan Suvraga, where the forces of nature created special eroded lump of rocks. They are called “white and red stupas” due to their color and shape. Stay overnight at ger camp.

Day 5 :
Day 5: Vulture Canyon “Yoliin Am”

Continuation of our journey to Gobi Desert. We will visit the impressive Vulture Canyon “Yoliin Am” in the Gobi Gurvan Saikhan National Park, where we are going to walk along the spectacular lump of rocks. The visit of the Gobi Museum is the last part of our days schedule. Stay overnight at ger camp.

Day 6 :
Day 6: "Flaming Cliffs" of Bayanzag

Today we drive to Bayanzag, where the first fossils of dinosaurs were discovered. In the afternoon, our plan is a walking tour to the “Flaming Cliffs”. Have dinner and stay overnight at ger camp.

Day 7 :
Day 7: Ongiin Gol

Drive to Ongiin Gol in direction to central Mongolia, in the late afternoon, old temple ruins will be visited here. Stay overnight at ger camp.

Day 8 :
Day 8: Provincial Town Arvaikheer

Today we drive to the provincial town Arvaikheer in north direction. Visit the local market and stay overnight at a hotel.

Day 9 :
Day 9: Waterfall Ulaanzutgalan

Continuation of our journey to the waterfall Ulaanzutgalan, which is part of the Khangai National Park. On the way, we will visit yak breeding nomads, at waterfall we will have a short walking tour to Ulaanzutgalan and stay overnight in extra ger built by nomads for tourists.

Day 10 :
Day 10: Kharkhorin

Tour to the historical capital city of Mongolia, visit to the monastery Erdene Zuu (World Heritage Site) and archaeological excavation. Stay overnight at the ger camp.

Day 11 :
Day 11: Provincial Town Tsetserleg

Provincial town Tsetserleg “Flower Garden“, where we visit the fascinating monastery Zaya Pandita and the local market. Continuation to the river Tamir, where we will see 20m high granite stone.

Day 12 :
Day 12: “Great White Lake”

Tour along the Canyon of Chuluut River to Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur, “Great White Lake”, which is pictorially embedded into the volcanic landscape. Stay overnight at the extra ger for two days.

Day 13 :
Day 13: Volcanic Crater Khorgo Uul

Hiking to the volcanic crater Khorgo Uul.

Day 14 :
Day 14-15: Hot Springs, Village Khatgal

Continuation of our trip to the Lake Khuvsgul on the north side, on the way, stay overnight at the ger camp with hot springs and in the village Khatgal close to the lake.

Day 16 :
Day 16-17: Lake Khuvsgul

Arrival at the ger camp with a panoramic view over the lake. Riding on or walking to the reindeer-family is possible.

Day 18 :
Day 18: Murun

Return to Murun passing deer stones, stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 19 :
Day 19: National Park Uran Togoo

National park Uran Togoo in south-eastern direction, where the extinct volcanic crater Uran Togoo is located, walk to the volcano and stay overnight at the ger camp.

Day 20 :
Day 20: Amarbayasgalant Khiid Monastery

Continuation of our trip to the Amarbayasgalant Khiid Monastery, one of the most important monasteries of Mongolia, it was built in the 18th century. Stay overnight at ger camp.

Day 21 :
Day 21: Ulaanbaatar

In the morning, 6 hour drive to Ulaanbaatar, farewell dinner with folklore and stay overnight at hotel.

Day 22 :
Day 22: Departure

Early morning transfer to the airport and departure.
