Experience the culture and nature of Mongolia, and sleep well in a Mongolian Ger (traditional nomads’ yurt).

Route 4 Tage

Day 1
Day 1: Ulaanbaatar, City Tour

Morning arrival in Ulaanbaatar, transfer to the hotel in downtown, after breakfast short break, city tour: Gandan Monastery and the National Museum. After lunch in the city visit to the Choijin Lama Temple Museum, dinner at the hotel.

Day 2
Day 2: National Park Khustai Nuruu

Morning drive to the west to the national park Khustai Nuruu, where the project for the reintroducing of the Przewalski Horse (called "Takhi") back to their native land is located. In the afternoon riding in the park, hiking to the human shaped stones of the Turkish State (6th-8th century). Visit to the nomadic family to learn about their daily activities. Stay overnight in extra ger, built for tourists.

Day 3
Day 3: Sand dunes of Elsen Tasarkhai, mountains Khugnu Khan

Morning drive further to the west, in the afternoon we reach the sand dunes of Elsen Tasarkhai, visit the ruins of the ancient monastery in valley of mountains Khugnu Khan, stay overnight in Mongolian ger at camp.

Day 4
Day 4: Back to Ulaanbaatar

In the morning we drive back to Ulaanbaatar, transfer to the hotel, in late afternoon a visit to the felt-projects is possible, farewell dinner with folklore concert.
